Due to unfortuanate circumstances here we are likely to have to cancel our holiday booked for next week.  As the arena was planned to be closed from the 4th May until the 15th May, we are offering out the hire of the indoor arena at the below specially discounted rates currently for the 4th, 5th and 6th May only: FLATWORK – £15 / hour up to 2 riders (excludes lights at standard rate). Additional £2.50 / rider / hr SHOW JUMPING – £20 / hour up to 2 riders (excludes lights at standard rate). Due to popular demand we are leaving a course of jumps out all day and evening on Wednesday 25th April for hire. The arena can be hired for £30 / hour and includes up to 4 riders within this rate.  If an evening booking is made and lights are required then this will be charged at £5 / hour.

We are pleased to advise that our photographer – Richard Marshall, has now launched his web site and a number of photographs from previous events have now been uploaded onto his web site for purchasing. Richard hopes to attend a number of our future shows so hopefully you will meet him and view photo’s he has taken while on our premises or subsequently on his web site. Please ensure all enquiries and purchases are arranged direct with Richard.  Photographs taken at dressage competitions will only be taken with the prior consent of the rider before their test and at show jumping competitions, there will be announcements on the tanoy system and he will be present in the arena to the side of the judges room at marker ‘C’.  Anyone NOT wishing to have their pictures taken are to advise the door steward. BHS Stage 1, 2 and 3 training programmes now being offered.

We are pleased to advise that we are now able to offer BHS Stage 1, 2 and 3 training programmes in 4 week blocks commencing from Thursday 17th May 2012 for Stage 1.  These courses are intended to be progressive through to Stage 3 between the hours of 9.30 am to 2.30pm, for one day a week. Please click on the link below to enable you to obtain further details of the course syllabus with T&C and print off as necessary. We are offering the use of our facilities to Becci Trower BHS1 (regd) UKCC 3 (generic) who will be the course instructor and will be providing all necessary course content, handouts and instruction. It is intended that the theory side of the syllabus will be carried out in our viewing gallery at our indoor arena, with stable management and other practical training being carried out at our stable yard

We thank all competitors who competed at our venue today, which all went well and to time. Today we would like to feature Tina Price who we nickname ‘Marathon Woman’ as she owns at least 10 horses and today she competed on three of her horses and did six tests.  Tina competed on her horses ‘Ghilley’, ‘Bo’ and ‘Cheeky’ and we show a picture below of her in action in Class 3 on her horse – Cheeky.

We are pleased to advise that we have added some photographs to our Events Gallery taken at our ‘Hartpury College Qualifier’ competition, so have a look and see if one is of you! We intend doing this on a regular basis, but you need to attend to get a picture! We offer this as a free service and hope this will become popular with those photogenic riders in action! From this show we feature today Megan Tisshaw.  We were advised by her mother that Megan had a great day on her new pony, and what a lovely pony she is to, BUT she has an almost impossible name for Jilly to pronounce.  Poor Jilly had great fun with her trusted companion – Rachie, trying to pronounce the name ‘Stroodorps Fuliette’.  However, Jilly did try with varying degrees of success much to the amusement of Megan and her mum – Tara.
