Just so Parents and competitors are aware, our children’s show jumping is running as planned tomorrow (8.07.12) and we hope to start our first class no earlier than 10.15 am. We hope plenty of riders attend and enjoy the competitions while their Dad’s have their feet up watching them in our fully furnished viewing gallery.    

For all you hardy show jumpers not worried about wet conditions we are still running the unaffiliated show jumping competition this evening.  We hope the first class will commence by 6.30 pm and ask that riders arrive early so the classes can run as quickly as possible, to minimise competitors waiting around. Fingers crossed that the rain may ease during the competition period!!

Just a note to advise competitors intending on competing at our Christmas show jumping competition this Sunday that they can wear fancy dress or have some festive colour on their horses or ponies as long as it is secure and safe. We cannot offer any prizes for the best dressed but it will add to the fun at the event. We will provide sweats in addition to a rosette for the winner in each class / section.

We apologise for any inconvenience but due to family health issues, we have had to cancel our show jumping competition to be held on the 18th November. We notified our clients last weekend on our Facebook page of this cancellation and due to technical problems with our web site, we have only just now been able to provide this notice. Please note however, that we are leaving out for hire on this Sunday a course of jumps which can be booked and hired at £20 / hr for two riders. Please add a further £5 / additional rider / hr. We have left our weekend show jumping course out for a further day to allow hire on Wednesday 6th June at our new rate of £20 / hour for two riders.  A further £5 is charged for each additional horse. Don’t worry about last minute booking on Wednesday, we will try and fit you in!

Following the success of our reduced rate trial period in May, we have decided to continue the reduced rates from  1st June 2012.  We hope this will encourage riders to use our arena more regularly for their personal training. Please note that we are still running our popular unaffiliated dressage competition for both children and adults on Saturday 24th November, though we are experiencing problems with our web site. Most people have heard of or experienced first hand the trauma of a family member having Cancer and as this has now directly affected our immediate family, Gary has taken on the LINC 3 Counties Cycle Ride on Sunday 10th June 2012, to raise some money for the LINC office at the Haematology Department at Cheltenham General Hospital.  The ride will start from Tewkesbury Rugby Club over an approximate distance of 32Km, and he will make his way through Bushley, Bushley Green, Upton on Severn and surrounding Cotswold town’s back to Tewkesbury. If anyone would like to make a donation then please complete the attached sponsorship form and return it to us at Home Farm with a cheque made payable to LINC.  Following receipt we will add your details to our master sponsorship form and then will submit the form and all donations to Cheltenham General Hospital once the cycle ride has been completed. Due to unfortuanate circumstances here we are now having to cancel our holiday booked this coming week.  As the arena was planned to be closed from the 4th May until the 15th May, we are offering out the hire of the indoor arena at the below specially discounted rates for these dates only: FLATWORK – £15 / hour up to 2 riders (excludes lights at standard rate). We still have some places remaining on our BHS Stage 1, 2 and 3 training programmes now being offered in 4 week blocks commencing from Thursday 17th May 2012 for Stage 1.  These courses are intended to be progressive through to Stage 3 between the hours of 9.30 am to 2.30pm, for one day a week (Thursday). We are offering the use of our facilities to Becci Trower BHS1 (regd) UKCC 3 (generic) who will be the course instructor and will be providing all necessary course content, handouts and instruction. It is intended that the theory side of the syllabus will be carried out in our viewing gallery at our indoor arena, with stable management and other practical training being carried out at our stable yard
