We have decided that in the interest of offering competitors more choice of venue to compete at, that as from September 2012, our unaffiliated dressage competitions will be held on a Tuesday evening as opposed to a Wednesday evening. We hope this will prove popular with competitors and we provide a link below to our first schedule for our Tuesday evening series of unaffiliated dressage competitions which will commence from 18th September 2018. The Leaping Frog Jumping Childrens SJ Results held 8.07.12 We like to feature a rider who attended the event and this time it is 9 year old Rosie on her 10 year old Exmoor Pony – Gaoth. Gaoth is a 10 year old Exmoor Pony. You may not know this but the Exmoor Pony is one of the worlds oldest breeds, and the Exmoor Pony has remained unchanged for centuries and is very hardy. Exmoor ponies are listed as endangered on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust watch list. Rosie  has been riding Gaoth for approx 7 months and this was their first try at 2ft 3-2ft 6, and didn’t she do well! Just so Parents and competitors are aware, our children’s show jumping is running as planned tomorrow (8.07.12) and we hope to start our first class no earlier than 10.15 am. We hope plenty of riders attend and enjoy the competitions while their Dad’s have their feet up watching them in our fully furnished viewing gallery.    

For all you hardy show jumpers not worried about wet conditions we are still running the unaffiliated show jumping competition this evening.  We hope the first class will commence by 6.30 pm and ask that riders arrive early so the classes can run as quickly as possible, to minimise competitors waiting around. Fingers crossed that the rain may ease during the competition period!!
