Vacancy position available for Part Time Kitchen Cook / Manager

We are pleased to advise that we have a vacancy for a Part Time Cook / General Kitchen Manager who will be responsible for the cooking and management of our kitchen during show days.

The work involves weekend working (normally up to 5 days in the month) with varying hours depending on entry levels for competitions.

There may be a further option for working some evenings during a month, subject to agreement.

Catering experience would be preferred though training will be offered as required to at least CIEH Level 2 in food hygiene and safety.

Our kitchen has a 5 star award for hygiene standards, and the successful applicant must be willing to work within the CIEH guidelines

Other requirements are that they are honest, reliable and happy to work with the general public.

The applicant must have transport and we are offering a starting rate between £4.50 and  £7.00 / hour under PAYE, depending on age and experience. We had successfully employed a reliable 15 year old female so this vacancy is open to this age group (consent of parents required).  Further benefits are offered, details of which will be discussed during the interview.
