The Piggy & Jockey’ Show Jumping Results held 8.06.14

From our February to May Series of competitions Heidi Ford won the unled section series with a great score of 77 points, on her pony – Bailey.  She was thrilled to collect her first ever trophy while attending this competition and below is a picture of her with her lovely smile.  Her Mum was very proud and wrote the following:

‘ Heidi is 8 years old, has been riding since she was 3 and has owned 20 year old Bailey, her first ridden replacement, for just over a year. The partnership started out taking their time to get to know each other and this time last year, they were only jumping the cross pole and 1’6 classes with me in the ring assisting. They have come on in leaps and bounds to where they are now and after doing very well in the HFEC Winter points league, have won their first trophy which Heidi is delighted about. Bailey isn’t push button and Heidi has to really ride her or she can be very cheeky. We had a little spell of this over the Easter hols where Heidi spent more time on the floor!! We took a little step back, worked hard on the problem and they’re away again!’

HFEC congratulate Heidi for her achievement and wish her much success in the future.
