Results from ‘The Spotty Dragon’ children’s show jumping fun day
October 8, 2012/
It was lovely seeing you all at our show and all those smiling faces and red faces from those Mum’s and Dad’s running around the arena in-hand with their child’s pony!!
We had some lovely feedback from competitors and new visitors to our premises so thank you for your kind remarks. One of them was from Mrs Turkington who wrote the following concerning her daughter Minnie who attended our venue for the first time in March this year.
Minnie Turkington age 7 started at Home Farm in March 2012 with her first pony Smithy aged 8.
Home Farm has given the pair tremendous amount of confidence with each other. They have gone from strength to strength, starting on lead reign in March and winning the last group March – August.
They have now moved to the unled section, cantering round, having great fun in the relaxed, safe, family friendly environment that Home Farm provides.
We provide some photo’s taken of Minnie and her pony Smithy, with one of them being with a trophy she had won for obtaining the most points in last quarterly competition from our May to August Series for the ‘Led’ section.
We will provide the results from the show below and congratulations to everyone who competed:
Another new comer to our venue was Mrs Sarah Notman with her daughter Emily. We have featured her in our Kids Corner so have a look and read her comments on her first experience at our show.
Our next children’s show jumping fun day will be the ‘Rocket Dog’ competition to be held on Sunday 4th November 2012, so look forward to seeing you all then and hopefully more family’s.
